Corrosive Environments
Stainless Steel Band, Buckles, Wing Seals/Wing Clips Perform in Corrosive Environments
Stainless steel band, buckles and wing seals/wing clips are used in environments that are subject to corrosion such as offshore platforms, chemical plants, oil and gas refineries, docks, shipyards, water treatment plants, paper mills, petrochemical plants, and factory insulation to name a few. The most common uses for stainless steel products where they excel against corrosion are dock and pier repair, marine and electrical cable bundling, hose attachment, component fastening and more.
Proper Tools for Tightening & Cutting Stainless Steel Band
Using the proper tools to tighten and cut the stainless steel band such as the T001 Cool tool for band up to .030 or the T402 for band .030 to .050 makes installation very easy. To cut band, use the T545 for band up to .035 and the T550 to cut heavy duty band. Also, available is the T101 Ratchet tool which both tightens and cuts the band.
